Check the front page. I snagged some brief interviews with Eaton, Theisen, and Henning.

Don't forget — whenever I see something worth noting, I'll be posting it to http://twitter.com/tandfn

Great discus competition coming up, but I'm afraid I'll miss it. Sorry, but if I don't take my 6-year-old daughter out for a birthday dinner this evening, I'll be in the doghouse.

Nice LJ for Blessing Okagbare. Only bettered in 2010 by Reese's mark at altitude in the USATF champs.

She was a meter behind with 30m to go, then made her move.

            3 mins. later...

                Men's 4 x 100

Was that Mark Jelks that ran anchor for API? It would have been interesting to see Spearmon's split for the anchor leg if indeed it was Jelks that he beat fairly handily on the anchor. Spearmon has always had an unbelievable top end, but he went by everyone without too much trouble and was able to showcase to the audience at the same time! I hope that he can have a good year and I would love to see him take a serious stab at the 400m in the next year or two. I always thought he was the guy that could break Johnson's record.

Doubt it. She merely slowed down the least.

[though I did see a girl last week who visibly changed gears with 20 to go, going from long loping strides to a much quicker turnover, so I guess the conventional wisdom that all sprinters are slowing down at the end only applies to those who know what they're doing!]

Manson over 2.31m for the win.
If you're ever walking down the beach and you see a girl dressed in a bikini made out of seashells, and you pick her up and hold her to your ear, you can hear her scream.
