    He PRed in the HJ at 7' 1/2" and had a good attempt at 7'1 1/2". He also competed in place of Eaton in the 4x400, though he completely tied up in the last 100 meters and gave up a sizable lead, which Barlow took back for the Ducks in the final leg. The crowd numbered about 5200, roughly the same as during last week's meet.

    Some other notable performances not mentioned above:
    Danny Marconi had three excellent attempts at 7' 1/2" in the HJ after PRing earlier at 6'11 3/4".
    Mike Simmons PRed in the Javelin by nearly 8' with a toss of 234', a mark which would have placed him 5th at last year's NCAA Finals. With Cyrus Hostetler lying back and trying to avoid last year's late season burnout, the Ducks could place three in the top eight in June's NCAA's.
