  • Largest margin of victory for 100 meters?

Today Ryan Bailey won the 100 meters in 10.17 (0.1) with 2nd place 11.01 in a small college meet at Lewis and Clark in Portland. It got me to thinking what is the largest margin of victory ever for a 100 meters run at a national level for the winner? I have searched a little on-line but no luck.

Anyone of our list stat gurus keep such a thing?

It doesn't get much better than Bob Hayes, 10.06–10.25 over Enrique Figurerola in ’64.

Or Bolt, 9.69 - 9.89 over Richard Thompson in '08.

And Carl, 9.99 - 10.19 over Sam Graddy in '84

          What about Shelly-Ann Fraser's 10.78 to Simpson and Stewart 10.98 i.e .20s differential.
