  • How to relax?

    I've got a kid I help coach who runs great workouts but can't take it to the meet. Ran repeat 150's in 16.5 but two days prior ran 24.5 200m. Is it choaking, overtraining or what. I can't figure it out. Great work ethic, very intense but competively inconsistant. Help!

    Warp, it is difficult to make a general assessment based on what you briefly stated. Some more info, like age, gender, length of time in the sport, workouts before the meet. Any of your guesses could be valid, but more info would be helpful to possibly pinpoint a cause.
