          That is a very nice effort! Great to see. But, I really wonder what the thinking was in having him double. They were probably thinking about getting a good workout. But, I think 13:45 is plenty good by itself - no need to run a 4:09 the next day, why not recover and enjoy the satisfaction of running a solid race, while preparing for the next week's workouts? Especially after injury troubles - stuffing the envelope until it breaks

            Yeah, considering our "natives" are all now too psyched out to really compete at the top levels. Of course, no American, European or Asian distance guy is going to get a "free pass" on certain things anyway in today's world.
