I have a Rankings question. If a runner DNFs because they are the rabbit, does that race count against them as a loss? I know that not too many rabbits are players at the top, but it does happen.

I don't believe world-class bunnies rabbit in their specialty events. You either have guys moving up or down, or someone who's nowhere near the top 10.

The last lagomorph to be world-ranked in their event was probably Tom Byers in '82.

Half Miler - you (or anyone else) obviously can't keep track of all the pacemaking assignments that get arranged and executed throughout the season all over the world. You're making a sweeping and incorrect statement. If you paid any attention to the men's steeple scene in the past two years, you would know that Tareq Mubarak Taher has been pacing Paul Koech in a number of his fastest performances (Tareq going to 1800m-2000m). Watch the steeple next week in NYC to see who we have set up to pace Paul and Tareq - he's sitting pretty high up on this season's SC list...
