  • Women's Dark Horse

Okay, everyone pretty much agrees that Deena and Colleen are set to make the trip to Athens as long as they don't hurt themselves or blow up.

But, is there a dark horse out there. The Jenny Spangler or Chris Clark that isn't on anyone's radar that makes the big jump and qualifies.

My personal pick is Nicole Hunt. Yes, she would have to make a huge jump to make it on the podium; but, stranger things have happened. Her races so far this year show that she's fit; and, she's a fierce competitor. So, who knows.

But, that's my own pick - how about others?

That would be great for those of us who don't have a clue for the upcoming prediction contest.

I wouldn't call either of them dark horses, but both Jen Rhines and Sara Wells seem to be ready for good races.

That was in answer to MJD's post, by the way.

She is not on the USTAF entries list.

OK, my out-of-left-field dark horse candidate will be Julia Stamps.

Damn-30 points if I take Brian's advice which I did and then changed my mind.
