NCAA Weather Forecast

Going to be a very chilly Saturday morning on June 12th in Eugene. With the final day over before noon it will mean temps in the 50's at best. The early start and then cool temps and chance of showers certainly going to have a negative impact on the sprint times. Oregon days always start chilly even on days when it warms greatly but not until later in the afternoon/early evening. Anyone have memory of a final day with temps under 60 in NCAA nationals history?

BYU '82 had a sleet storm, wouldn't surprise me if it were in the '40s. Wind chill felt like freezing.

Westcoast, you are putting a lot of 'faith' in a 7-day ahead forecast. In general, 7 days out an 'optimal' forecast is probably X% Forecast + (1-X%) Normal for Date. The X is probably about 1/3rd for 7 days out, at least.

The first day of the 1989 meet at Provo was just a tad chilly.

Think the Buffalo nationals was pretty cold. Recall the distance times were good.
