Barber anticipated the gun and went out too quick

The starter had them down too long I think

                Pssshhh.

They both false started. That was on THEM...not the starter.

After the first false start Fraser should've maintained her composure and made sure she didn't jump.

To attribute that to the starter is foolish IMO.

                  Yeah... in your opinion...
in my opinion he had them down too long.

There is a difference between falling outta the blocks and anticipating the start. All in all. They both false started. We move on.

Well...also in my opinion...seems like you're making an excuse for Fraser.

No one else has had trouble with the starter in other races so there's no indication that they're being held to long. The 2 people that got DQ'd rely on getting a great start as a key component of their races and catching the gun.

In this instance they showed the head on view of her start and she tried to catch the gun, flinched, then fell. It was plain as day.

Not making excuses for Fraser... the girl false started >_> Whats done is done. And a good start and a good reaction time is different. SAF has run fast with a +0.200 reaction time.

She false started... que sera sera. I don't see what the big deal is :?

Judging from the reaction times of all the runners it would seem something is off to me... But again.... It really doesn't matter does it? She FS'd and irrespective of what happens the race aint being called back.

                        Re: Rome DL: w100

Pretty safe to say their reaction times are indicative of them trying to make sure they didn't false start after two others had already been DQ'd for doing so...

You've kind of lost me on why reaction times are even in this equation though...I certainly never made any distinction between a good start and reaction times...that was you who brought that up.

Wasn't trying to make a big deal of it...just saw you saying "the starter" was the reason for Fraser's false start and IMO that's off base. Apparently, we just disagree here.

Never said that it was 'the starter' your the one that implied that. lol

You're right , whenever a athlete falls out the blocks like that the starter is holding them too long or @ least has a irregular rhythm , I'll tell you what though if i payed my good money for one of those seats as a fan i'd be pissed , They could've gotten another Starter not another SAF , the fans got shafted .
