I think Spearmon still draws interest. Let's not forget he has been on the podium in the 200m in each of the last 3 world championships, and almost in the 2008Olympics but for the line violation.

You don't speak for everyone though. Obviously the top dogs are more exciting and the up and coming Blake, but don't discount a multi-WC-medalist too quickly.

I think that's exactly it though, he doesn't draw interest untill championship time in which he always comes through. But on the circuit he isn't as popular as he should be. Notice how he got completely left out of the Monnaco spotlight even after Dix pulled out. It took Blake running him down for most to notice him.
