  • And not one mention of T&F

"And lo, on the third day of the busiest sports weekend of the year, the husband will rise again from the couch, and
dwell in the kingdom of the household once more.

Until then, roughly 36 hours from now, women and children are on their own. An absent frenzy has seized the land.

The second coming of hockey -- known as the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs -- means that between yesterday
afternoon and tomorrow, no fewer than 11 games involving five of Canada's six teams demand to be watched. Then
there's the Masters, the Mount Olympus of golf, whose defending champion, Canadian Mike Weir, failed to make
the cut yesterday. The Toronto Blue Jays play three of their opening-week games in Boston this weekend, while
the Raptors are booked against Detroit and Chicago.

Expressed as a quantum, this means 50 hours of television sports crammed into 48 hours of life. Fans call it "the
    heavenly weekend.""

Not one mention of T&F? Isn't that because it's not warm enough to do T&F in Canadia until July? :-)
