    Re: New Server

Are people still seeing the 500 errors described above? I made a tweak to a couple configuration files that is supposed to fix the problem. I keep seeing similar errors in the log files but I no longer can reproduce the error, which I could yesterday.

In case anyone else is wondering what the heck these guys are talking about. Actually, I always wondered how one got those symbols above the letters.

Or course, if you have a Mac, you needn't worry about Alt+x, you simply use the logical key combinations built into the operating system.

Just got this twice in a row:

                            Server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.

Likely cause. I can easily see huge demand from the American sports fan masses to know who placed where in the 1976 10,000 Olympic Trials. Must have been a rumour Gabe's and Webb's dads were in a photo finish for the last qualifying position.

I've found that if you get the server-error thing it "always" seems to let you in on re-request. But in making a new thread a minute ago, i got refused so reposted, then it put up the thread twice.
