  • IAAF Webcast For Golden League Intro

    <<Monte Carlo - For the first time ever, the IAAF will launch the summer season with a live TV Broadcast, focusing on the new TDK Golden League, which starts 1 month later at Bergen Norway, but also linking this prestigious circuit with the other main track and field competitions of 2004 including the IAAF World Junior Championships, the Olympic Games in Athens and the IAAF World Athletics Final in Monaco.

    The show will blend historical footage of the IAAF Golden League since 1998 and other competitions, with exclusive interviews with star athletes, past and present. There will also be a number of special studio guests and the event will be hosted by IAAF President Lamine Diack.

    The entire broadcast can also be seen – as it happens – on internet!

    Speaking of Golden League and European (and other foreign) meets in general. Is T&FN, the magazine going to have an outdoors fixture list? I had hoped for April, not fulfilled. Maybe May?
