    >Are you sure Anneisha is eligible next year?. The 4x4 should be interesting
    >next year if McLaughlin and Sutherland train on. (PRs of 52.31 and 52.47

Correction, just for the records.( PRs of 52.11secs and 52.41sec respectively)

Aneisha McClaughlin won the world youth gold medal last year. Only under 18 competes at WYC. This year she is under 19, next year she will be a final year student at her school if she so chooses to remain and will be under 20.

I meant the title of the post suggests that a Jamaican High School had just run sub 43.50. Also from what was originally written you had to infer that he was postulating the possibility of such an event. No big deal.

I think what he meant by false advertising was 43.50...could be a great men's (boys) 400 meter time...and with Usain Bolt all the rage these days...

but a 43.50 4x1 girls would still be amazing, too...lol

Are you sure Anneisha is eligible next year?. The 4x4 should be interesting next year if McLaughlin and Sutherland train on. (PRs of 52.31 and 52.47 respectively.)

What false advertising? All four members of the team that ran 44.26secs this year, posted 45.2secs last year, while competing in the under 17 category at thier high school champs. With natural progression, good coaching and slick baton-passing the world junior record, if still around then, may fall to a high school team.

    sub-43.50secs- Jamaican High School

Holmwood Technical Girls placed 3rd at last Saturday Penn relays, running 44.62secs and has run 44.26secs at the Jamaican nationals . Schillonie Calvert, the under 17 Carifta Gold Medallist was ruled out due to ineligibilty.

She is arguable one of the best sprinters at the school. All five members on the team are eligible to return next year. It will take a collegiate team to stop this team next year. This team can dip below 43.50secs at Penns next year.
