VCB is looking good for that gold in the 100, KAB is also looking well.
I have been saying that Jeter is over racing and it is starting to show.Had KNB had a better start she would have beaten Jeter.Jeter top end speed is almost gone, and to think that she has to do rounds. I don''t see her medaling the 200 at this rate.
Shelly great start wont work anymore. Her top end speed is dead and she faded badly and to think she has rounds in the 100.I think she still needs time and three weeks will not cut it.
VCB was smart to race less this season and work things out for worlds. At first I was upset with her not racing too much but now I get it.Let these girls tire themselves out and go to worlds fresh. Well wishing all the girls luck at WC.

I love VCB but what has she done so far to prove that she is capable of winning the 100m gold. Her last 100m time was 10.95 and she lost to KAB. So :|.

VCB have the the second two fastes times this seaon, how quickly we forget her 10.76 and her 10.83 at trails.Jeter is not in her 10.60 forms right now and KNB have never ran a 10.70somthing.VCB was having a hard time in the 100s and they stopped her from racing to focus. Her last race where she ran the 200, her first 100 was mad.Like I said VCB is a front runner for the gold and if you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you.

Anybody who rules out Baptiste for gold is fooling themselves. Her finish in this race was scary! SAF looked to me to be at less than full speed after Jeter went by her and I think she'll be a different woman come Daegu. Jeter, on the other hand did ease up a little at 95m, unaware of Baptiste closing on her. Daegu will be awesome.

Jura Levy ran 11.65 in her heat for sixth place, and failed to advance....

Is her place in the individual 100m at Daegu under threat?
unfortunately the system is just like america.. so her spot is safe. They really have no legal standing to take her out. But who knows what will happen especially with the politics that surrounds all sports.

i hope all the safp stans will stop talking thrash and making excuses now.

She might not have been a circuit runner but at least she won some and did not lose by such a margin

                    Re: Non-DL London: W 100m

In her last tuneup race she gets passed like she is standing still and she is the favorite for the 100 -- take off BOTH pairs of rose-colored glasses and then open your eyes. Notorious is already toast if she does not win and now her back ups are edging up on his favorites. She certainly did not have this kind of lead up the last two times, and her last really good 100 was 24 months ago. I would not count SAFP out, but to think that she is the favorite is clearly not to base it on anything other than faith.

Athletes do nit win every race they run. They all lose. Maybe VCB was working on something specific that day or she had an off day or KAB was on. Whatever it was you would be remiss from the evidence presented to you this season that VCB and CJ aren't clear favourites

                        Re: Non-DL London: W 100m

KAB was NOT making up time in the last 30m on Jeter. The appearance is due to the angle of the camera. In the Universal video now on the front page the video from the inside shows her possibly even ahead of Jeter mid-race and shows that she is not closing except for possibly the lean in the last stride.

Actually SAF-P looked easy in the race today. And contrary to the commentators were saying.... Baptiste and Jeter had a better start than her, but she was out ahead of them in first 30m-40m. Something to look at if I were them. If they can't get out in front of SAF-P with a better start than her...how in the world they going to come close to her when she is fully blazing out the blocks and being SAF-P in Daegu?

Yea she was easily passed. Fraser had her typical race pattern here. Blazing start, way ahead of teh field, then she just fades and is unable to hold her top end. With VCB Jeter, Myers and Baptist all showing great race patterns and amazing speed, the era of Fraser winning off her start looks to be over. Its very possible she could get 5th (even 6th) behind those ladies in Deagu.
