Suggestions that Ostapchuk got shafted because of her looks is utter nonsense. There are two primary reasons.

1. Throws are treated with contempt. Only walks have even lower following.
2. Ostapchuk had no credible competitors whatsoever in 2010.

Event rankings are close enough to being objective. It's only the AOY voting that has this problem.
