Daegu, Guess Who Competish

So while we were in Daegu we spent less time looking at the track than we did looking at the stands, to see who else was there. So on our blog we're having a comptition, if you can guess all the athletics luminaries we met, you win a load of Daegu goodies.

Just scanning the faces the first time through I got only about 25%, so I opted not to compete. Would it help if I were a Brit?

I got 61% ... but I'm sure a couple of my guesses are probably wrong.

I don't think anyone will beat my record. I did not recognize anyone, except mump and flump, in any of those pics.

Damn close, but I'm pretty sure I noticed at least one you should know well. Or do you never officiate for the triple jump or heptathlon?

Both. I will go back and look but if they don't have a name or number on em, they are just a foot on the board, I may never see their face.

Nope. The hep/TJ clues indicates a female but nada. I guess that means the athletes are as personally invisible to me as I am to them.
Even though I have been priviledged to work meets with many world class athletes, the truth is, if they came to my door in civilian dress there are not very many I would recognize.

Uhhhhh, No. One wears glasses and has a Mohawk but I don't think I ever knew which was which. :?

Definitely not! I'm utterly useless when it comes to recognising athletes in their non-track uniform.

Having said that I think I have 21 at the moment which is much better than my attempt last night. :!:

it will make absolutely no difference if you're brit, i think there are only 2 british athletes in there. Lonewolf you should be ashamed, the youngsters have an excuse most of these retired before they were born but loads of these must from your era :P

TBH, some of the old ones are hard to recognize. But there are a few that I don't understand how anyone calling himself a T&F fan can NOT know immediately.
