  • Allen v. Anier

Any word yet on how Anier Garcia's doing so far in this early season. With any luck this Olympic 110HH final could be one of best in history. Anier Garcia could become the 3rd hurdler to repeat and the 1st non-American to repeat. Allen Johnson could become the 1st to repeat over nonconsecutive Olympics, or we could have someone else get the gold this summer. Whoever it is, the final should be blazing.

Given his record since 2002, he's more likely to be a non-finalist than a repeat winner in Athens.

That and AJ will not be denied! He's already in 'good' early season form; this will be the year that CJ says ba-bye to the WR.

Anier didn`t run at the National Olimpics tournaments in Havana last month, they said that he was recovering from a heath problem; Although it`s true that he hasn`t been the same since 2001, I`m confident, he is a competition athlete and he can surprise in Athens.
There is a young hurdler named Yunier Hernandez that can surprise aswell.
