  • Jud Logan to open 2004 season -- again

    Jud Logan is set to compete in the hammer throw at the Akron Campbell/Wright Open on Saturday, May 8. Logan is a four-time Olympian; 1992 Olympic Trials Champion; placed 3rd at 2000 U.S. Olympic Trials; 1984, 85, 87, 91 U.S. Outdoor champ.

    Will he make a run for the 2004 Olympics?

        Someone help me out here before I check myself into the Geezer Home for the Terminally Out-of-it . . . didn't it used to be J-U-D-D?!

        edit: Aha! I just googled him and the Mt. SAC meet record is held by:

        "Hammer 265-4 Judd Logan (New York AC)"

        Somewhere along the line he got streamlined.

          Perhaps it's just a case of the Alistair "Craig" syndrome.

          Google that and you'll see plenty of results, such as:

          "Another record came in the men’s 3,000m run, with Irishman Alistair Craig of the University of Arkansas won in 7:45.22 to set a collegiate record."
