This year the entertainment arm of the Relays is the Modesto Street Scene and BBQ Festival. Friday night the event kicked off with a concert by Bryan Adams and Kimberley Locke at John Thurman Field.

Let's see -- almost 11:30 and no results on the Modesto website, five hours after the conclusion of the meet, and nothing on the AP wire. Hmm. Guess our paper will have to run another Marion Jones/BALCO/Conte drug story in that space instead. Nice PR profile for this sport.
