Same meet... slow-be wankin' Obea. 44th-fastest in a slew of 800 heats. 44 used to be a goal of a different kind for the kid.

    44 Moore, Obea Unattached 1:58.32

I wonder if these names are for real?

If so, Willie Gault also ran the hurdles in 14.56. Not bad.

Add Heike Drechsler to that list; from Leichtathletik:

        Heike Drechsler springt in Mexiko

Does anyone know this answer? I've seen name of Amy Chow pole vaulting 12ft+. Is it the great gymnast (Magnificent 7 from Atlanta)?

Same one. I read somewhere she took up the PV as a hobby while studying medicine? at Stanford.

Yes - the IAAF story on the late March Stanford Invitational mentioned she has begun pole vaulting.

Tilastopaja.net has Amy Chow in their database. In her only listed year of competition she's vaulted 3.80 (12-05.50).

That's not bad at all. She just turned 26.
