1:02:12 at the halfway point, with Wilson Kipsang making the breakaway.

For the women, it looks like Mary Keitany and Edna Kiplagat will battle it out over the last 4 miles.

And for the men, Abel Kirui has made his way up toward Wilson Kipsang and Feyisa Lilesa. 4:30 at the 14th mile.

Kenyan selections won't be any easier if they finish this way (OK, Kipsang and Kirui would surely be in, but the third spot...)

Keitany is on the move. Could possibly break 2:20.

Never mind 2:20, at this pace she looks likely to go below Gelana's WL!

Mary Keitany 2:18:37. She has to be the consensus favorite for the Olympics.

              Edna Kiplagat 2:19:51.

Fifth-fastest in women's marathon history, chopping 10 seconds off countrywoman Catherine N'dereba's 2.18.47 as the Kenyan and African record.

1:07:44 second half... even if she did two of those back-to-back she still wouldn't get the WR

Constantina Dita 2:32:33. If I'm not mistaken, she's 41 or 42 now. Where does that put her on the age-40+ all-time list?

Makau has dropped out. Is he already a lock for the Kenyan OG team?

I think Petrova holds the V40 record at 2:25:43 so it's not one of the fastest by a veteran. However it's a surprising return to form seeing as she's struggled to break 2:40 recently.

Kipsang 1:57:58 at 40K. He's going to cut it very close for the course record, or even 2:04:00.
