  • Ritz discussion.

I was a bit dissapointed in Ritz's 10,000m at Hengelo...27:50.82 is a good effort but inferior to the 13:14.72 he ran in 5000m at Oxy. With the great competiton at Hengelo and all those runners to pull him along, I thought he would do closer to 27:30.Only 30 seconds behind Geb would have been great a few years ago...except Geb is a mniute slower now.

Will be interesting to see what Ritz decides to compete in in the OT.I just hope he continues to be healthy and can keep improving...I am a huge fan.

I hope he runs the 10K so that the trials doesn't become a sit and kick again. The Olympics are going to be 27:0x or faster, so I don't want to see a 28:30 race like it was last year.

Hengelo was a little warmer than normal this year.
