      This should be very interesting....
      8-)
Has Felix decided to focus on the 100-200 double? Or is she still committed to the 200-400 double?
My heart is still in the Caribbean....

I would imagine this would be the race to decide that.
I'm betting that Felix will take Jeter, but I want to see her do the 1-2 at trials so I would like to see Jeter win for Felix's sake.

May well depend on the lane draw (which should be decided in the next hour or so)

I don't think lane draw has anything to do with this matchup. Jeter will be better than or equal to VCB and AF by London; don't be surprised if CJ wins.

If your a speedster like Veronica, lane draws really doesn't matter much to her. Veronica has won major championships from an outside lane(in Daegu as well as the 2004 Olympics) and an inside lane in the 2008 Olympics.

VCB is running here as well?

Point is( you obviously missed it) is that if your a true champion like Veronica, being on the inside or outside doesn't really matter. You just adjust your race plan accordingly.

                    Should be a good race.

Based on their current form, Jeter should be leading at 100m. It will be interesting to see if Felix can run her down in the last 200m. That didn't happen in any of their 200m races in 2011. In fact, I don't believe Felix beat Jeter in any 200m in 2011.

if the margin is only a few 100ths at the finish, then the curve most definitely matters.

Based on their rankings in 2011, I believe Jeter should get the preferred inside lane.

I just dont see how VCB is relevant since she isn't running.

But how is lane 4 and inside lane?
And how is lane 5 an outside lane?
                          Wheres the middle?

I think it's simply respective to who is 'inside' or 'outside' the runner in question.

Felix though should BREAK Jeter her BADLY

Notorious, Felix did beat Jeter in NY at the 2011 Adidas GP. She lost 2 races to Jeter in 2011 (Monaco & Daegu). Thought you would know. But then you only care for .... u know who. If you don't believe me check the below link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9aMR6vK ... re=related
