Should be a good race.

Based on their current form, Jeter should be leading at 100m. It will be interesting to see if Felix can run her down in the last 200m. That didn't happen in any of their 200m races in 2011. In fact, I don't believe Felix beat Jeter in any 200m in 2011.

I think Felix beat Jeter in her 200 opener of last year. I don't remember where it was but I remember it having a strong headwind and her running like 22.9x. In the race Bianca Knight was closing on her in the last 50 meters which is rare for Felix(even though she won).

This 200m field is loaded with good performers. Would have been even better if Kimberlyn, Tianna, Solomon and SRR were also running the 200s along with Jeter, Felix, Moore and Knight. That to me looks like the 200m finals lineup for the US trials.

Has Felix decided to focus on the 100-200 double? Or is she still committed to the 200-400 double?

I would imagine this would be the race to decide that.
I'm betting that Felix will take Jeter, but I want to see her do the 1-2 at trials so I would like to see Jeter win for Felix's sake.

Based on their rankings in 2011, I believe Jeter should get the preferred inside lane.

Don't you remember that the top 4 are randomly assigned to the 4 best lanes, 5 and 6 to their two, etc? Top seed does not get to pick, this is not the Circuit...
