Loving Barbara Parker's new UK record in 4th. Did her best to stay with the leaders and was well rewarded. Thought she'd get the UK record this year but not by 4 seconds.

9:25 opener and 12 sec. pr by Emma Coburn. May be able to challenge AR (9:12) by Olympics.

Barbara Parker is Tallahasse, FL trained by Karen Harvey (hurdle training by Terry Long) along with 2-3 FSU females who qualified for ncaa steeple.

Sub-3:00 last kilo for Chemos. Last year, she kind of faded toward the end of the season, winning everything until Daegu (3rd) and Van Damme (5th). Last year, she ran 9:16+ and 9:13- in May.

Galkina is getting ready, running some low-key flat races in Russia. I haven't seen anything from Zaripova yet.

I really like Chemos, she run all the time, isn't afraid of anyone and has been around long enough for us to become familiar with her but her hurdling is atrociousm she loses half a metre at every barrier. If she really want to challenge for major honours and the WR (which i believe she's capable of) she has to sort this out. Come London the RUS with their imaculate technique are going to arrive out of nowhere and beat allcomers

Hurdling isn't that difficult to learn.

No, that was her technique from the start and even in the heat I remember. Like she didn't train steeple at all but her speed between the hurdles was quite promising.
