Adidas grand prix parking

Is anyone familiar with the parking situation around Icahn stadium for the meet? I checked the website and it says besides prepurchased parking passes, its first come first serve. Does that mean the parking lot becomes full? Are there other places nearby to park? Hopefully someone can help me out because I will be driving from far away and am estimated to arrive slightly before the first event begins. Last thing I want is to be driving around Randalls island aimlessly for a place to park.

They have significantly increased the amount of parking spots over the years. Spots next to the stadium are alot more expensive than those further out. When you park further out, they will have shuttle buses to take you to the stadium(at least they had that last year).

You will find paid parking without a doubt.
