Re: Lolo Jones in Rome?
she crashed out. hit the first hurdle. her technique is not good. she has fundamental flaws in her technique. it's exasperating to watch. she's a fantastic athlete with speed, agility and aggression, but she doesn't seem to understand what's she doing technically. she's erratic technically and prone to crashes, in part, because of this. if she was more compact, more forward from the hips over the hurdle and more controlled with her stride pattern, she could get down to the 12.30s or so.
watch Sally Pearson or Susanna Kallur and compare them the Lolo. they are on an entirely different level, technically. Even Dawn Harper, Carruthers and the Canadians are better technically than Lolo.
I like Lolo and wish her the best. Hope she makes the team, but she's not fully tapping her potential.
