As a first approximation, every 0.2mps => 0.01 seconds plus a little more, especially for women; 0.012 seconds would be a better approximation but not as easily done.

Winds not promising right now - out of the south(headwind) around 12 mph

What you don't say.... That was a blow out for Gardener.... And here I thought Duncan was a show in... That look sub-11-ish when corrected for wind...

Place Athlete Name Yr Affiliation Time Pts Wind
          1 English Gardner SO Oregon 11.10 10 -1.7
          2 Kimberlyn Duncan JR LSU 11.16 8 -1.7
          3 Semoy Hackett SR LSU 11.33 6 -1.7
          4 Kai Selvon SO Auburn 11.41 5 -1.7 [11.403]
          5 Octavious Freeman FR UCF 11.41 4 -1.7 [11.406]
          6 Alexis Love JR Murray State 11.53 3 -1.7
          7 Chelsea Hayes SR Louisiana Tech 11.58 2 -1.7
          8 Aurieyall Scott SO UCF 11.59 1 -1.7

LSU still picking up some more points with Hackett finishing where she did

Great run by Gardner. Maybe she can even repeat this at home in Eugene and make the team.

10.97 at sea level, 10.98 considering that Drake is at over 900 feet above sea level

Surprised no one has used the wind chart to factor the race had it been run in reverse as the trials were 2 days earlier. If so Gardner is 10.88 with a legal 1.7 tailwind.

With home track fan support Gardner is looking a serious challenger to make it to London.
