I could see that with a 2.0+ wind. I'm gonna be safe and say:
wind +1.4
gatlin 9.82
gay 9.86
demps/rodgers/bailey 9.90

the oregon clock will make it happen.

I think same, sub 9.8 only with +2.0, with +1.0 or +1.5 probably 9.82-9.87 :wink:

There were some strong tail winds in the long jump, so they could get some wind here.

I really think there are many combinations of runners that could have them in the mix. Gatlin, Rodgers, Spearmon, Gay could be possible? I'm not sure how Bailey is on relays.

When is the wind measured for each race/event?

I've always thought that adding a realtime wind reading to the TV screen before and during each race or event where it matters would be awesome.

I cant believe Dix is out there!!! I think he believes he made it this far on the hammy, it would be smarter to just run this one last 100m then withdraw and run the 200m rounds. I just hope he doesnt injure himself further!

I guess officially 9.80 for Gatlin. Gay doesn't look right, but hopefully he gets it in time. 9.86 ain't bad though.

Had to finish this final and guarantee his eligibility for relay pool. If he's hurt he probably wont make top 4 in 200

I honestly think Gatlin can win the 100m in London. He is really just a competitor. He adapts to the field.
