I read somewhere that Ashton Eaton's world record in the Olympic Trials is the first at the Olympic Trials since Michael Johnson's in 1996. However, I read in "The Complete Book of the Olympics, 2012 Edition" that Stacy Dragila broke the world record in the women's pole vault twice in the 2000 pre-Olympic season, including a vault of 4.63 at the US Olympic trials. Just want to inform the board about it.
