Tyson Gay (One-hundreth of a second from a medal!)

Tyson Gay was 1/100 of a second (plus maybe a few thousandths) away from gaining a medal for himself, but that wouldn't have increased the US total medal count -- that would have just knocked Gatlin off the podium.

To increase the US medal count in that race, two Americans would have had to go faster than Yohan Blake's 9.75.

Team USA had nine 4th place finishes. I'd say decent odds we pick up a medal or two in the next 8 years... hopefully we don't lose any!

One drug cheat out, we only need to more in WSP places 1-4 busted to get a medal there :lol:

Anyone want to place a bet on when we hit 30 T&F medals from London? Today? Next week? Next year? Never?
