Not only that, but, unlike everyone else on this board, I still have my own teeth.

Tell it to someone who cares. And, since this is a T&F board, after all, how about answering my trivia Q ?

    BUTKUS!!!

For Pete's sake! The guy only has his OWN collegiate award named after him! The man ranks with Al Oerter in terms of accomplishment, duration, tenacity, and ferocity. A legend.

I don't think we grew up watching the same TV shows :-D
And how the hell did you know I was born in 1974 ? :-O

If you're from my generation (born 1974), then you really only know Butkus from appearances on various TV shows in the '80's...

Amazing as it may be, some people on this board are not American... and yes, I am one of them :-)

WHAT? How old are you? Or are you non-American? (In which case, it would be perfectly understandable.)

Butkus was one of the greatest linebackers ever to play American football. He was know for being a particularly vicious hitter, and admitted to having fantasies about hitting someone so hard their head would come flying off. But otherwise, I hear he's a pretty nice guy. :-)

In terms of what he accomplished as a pro, Butkus is a quantum leap ahead of Felicien (sorry about that).
