Has anyone ever compiled a list of the most decorated sprinters? I was wondering if anyone knew the top 10 male/female sprinters according to World/Olympic medal count :?:

I imagine it is Lewis with 12 gold (6 Olympic 6 WC), 1 silver (Olympic) 1 bronze (WC).
It would have been MJ but for the Sydney DQ. He has 4 gold Olympic and 8 gold WC plus the Sydney DQ -

I was just going to say - like washing - it helps to separate the whites from the coloureds..and then realised that might not be the best analogy to use...

I meant 'keep relays and individual events' separate.
And - also - have a separate list for those who didn't have the fortune of WCs every two (or even four) years.Comment

If we only count gold medals, Bolt the next year will surpras that record hehe.
11 golds(and 2 silver medals) until this moment with almost 26 years.
Although in my opinion 400m is not really sprint, some people dont see it like sprint neither.
60,100 and 200 are sprint without doutb hehe.
And like somebody told in other topic, sprint would be perhaps until 300m more or less.Comment
