You responded to a post about Lolo saying that. It is ridiculously pathetic.

But it was clear from my post that I was disparaging Snooki and not Lolo, so what's your point? Anyone who is familiar with this board knows that the likelihood of me disparaging a current or former LSU athlete is similar to the likelihood of Aaronk disparaging Mary Cain or TrackDaddy disparaging Sanya Richards.

Just watch the show and thought it was all right .....she is very down to earth ...apparently she promised Ross that she would give him a baby if she won gold in London....that she did but apparently after one wins gold thats when you make bank lol!!!!!

And actually I don't think Usain Bolt declaring himself a legend over and over is interesting or anything close to charismatic. Sanya has personality off the track. Usain Bolt does a bunch of poses for the camera on the track, but I never laughed out loud at any of his interviews or personal videos (except the one he did with Sanya )

Amen! I'm not offended by Bolt's antics, but he's never made me laugh. To be charismatic away from the track, an athlete must have a quick wit, and Bolt doesn't have it, and neither does Allyson for that matter. Shelly-Ann's post-race interviews are a lot more entertaining than Bolt's IMO.

I think you are mixing up charisma with humour. Bolt's voice is golden honey and if you look on YouTube at those business or University talks he gives he easily holds the attention for an hour.

I have seen Sanya's video's. They are okay. Yawn. I prefer to watch track and field.

I have been (and continue to be) a huge fan of what SRR has done on the track, but reality tv is not normally my cup of tea. The first thing I thought of when I saw the thread was that now that she has an individual olympic gold and has basically dominated her event for many years whether this sort of activity would be an indication of significantly less focus on the track performance side of the house. I can only hope that she still has some enthusiasm for pure track performance left.

SRR has stated that she hopes to compete in Rio and also said she wants to be faster. While she didn't actually say it, I think she wants to break the American record of 48.70 that she set 6 years ago.

In the UK athletics is pretty high profile, especially now after the Olympics, and I think is seen as a sport with some "class".

There's nothing classy about a reality show.

I hope you're wrong about that Daisy. Aaron is not a high profile NFLer at all! Very low name recognition. I guarantee you that the vast majority of fans, are sure of who he is. And couldn't name him if you showed them his face. Not saying that he isn't a good player. He is. But his name rec is really low. Compared to true NFL stars/celebs.

In contrast, I think most all Track fans know who Sanya is.

So my guess, and my hope, is that it is going to be more a Sanya show than an Aaron show.
