I know the West Ham deal is up in the air but I think the stadium and track will stay (even if they resize the stadium to 60,000), if only because after such a successful Games there will be pressure to keep the athletic legacy going. I can't imagine any proposal to rip the track up where Mo Farah won a historic double gold going down well in the public sphere. And even though I think the stadium is modest looking compared to the magnificent Bird's Nest I think London 2012 was so successful the stadium and track should stand in perpetuity. Oh ye of little faith here who wanted to settle for that horrible proposal by Tottenham to rip it all down. Track and field has a pulse yet.
