TIM SEAMAN MAKES OLYMPIC QUALIFYING TIME
VALLENSBAEK, DENMARK - Tim Seaman fulfilled his quest for an Olympic qualifying performance today in the 20km race walk at the Phonixmarchen race, winning in a time of 1:22:02, breaking the US Record of 1:22:17 in the process. Also, his time at 15km (1:01:30) bettered the existing US Record by one second. A top 3 finish at the US Olympic Trials in Sacramento on July 17th guarantees Tim a trip to Athens for the Olympic Games.
