              A very interesting race: very slow second 200, then Niyonsaba negative-split it. She must have run close to 28.0 last 200 (have to check her splits out on video). SAvinova was about 59.1 at 400, in good position at 600, but raced-out, apparently. Brenda Martinez set another PB.

                My mistake: Niyonsaba did NOT negative split; she led at 400 in 57.03, but she ran a very slow 3rd 200, then finished in 28.25! She was so strong in the homestretch!

                    I still think of her as a miler and I still think her best event is/should be the 1500. But I'm less certain of that than I used to be.
