The Webb 3:53 down below it is pretty good quality.

      Re: Blazing shoes!

Over the winter I took a look at some of my VHS tapes from the '84 Olympics (which I taped off the air from the ABC telecast).

These days I'm used to my DirecTV digital crystal clear signal, just like you see on a DVD...
...and I can't believe I didn't totally lose my eyesight back then!

But back then I didn't think it was all that bad because I seldom got better reception off the roof antenna. And ten years from NOW we'll all be watching HDTV and wondering how we ever survived 'squinting' at a puny 525-line NTSC signal!

Fortunately, two wrongs always make a right, huh?

I like your proof: two negatives combined equal a positive. That's going to upset centuries of schoolyard legal precedent. (Obligatory smiley emoticon reserved)

Without weighing in on anyone's point here, you seem to have a real problem with sweeping generalizations.

I'm still trying to figure out which generation he's talking about...

From the way he talks I wouldn't be surprised if his hobby is cave painting.

I'll let this go since it has digressed from discussions about T&F
