Which two NCAA 1,500m athletes from the same college/university in your opinion were (are) the most exciting, fun, fiercest competitors to which the American public has been (currently is) drawn?

I:m thinking Bash Brothers type of influence.

For a brief time, Jennings and Stember of Stanford. The most (unfulfilled) potential was Sullivan and Webb of Michigan. Oh no, another Gabe/Alan post.

(Kevin) Sullivan (1998 grad) had no NCAA eligibility during Alan Webb:s Michigan track career.

villanova had a lot of good 1500 meter runners, maree, coghlan, paige (more of an 800 runner, but very good at 1500) dont know if they were the same years. jumbo elliott produced a lot of good 1500/mile runners.

Only sort of: in '59 Grelle was a senior, Burleson a frosh, but those were the days when the frosh couldn't compete with the varsity.
