The aggies men and women seem to always have some type of injuries in the later part of the season any wonders why?

As one who lived through it, all I can say is that the transition from HS athlete to college isn't a slam-dunk natural progression. Reversion, unfortunately, comes easily. And there's not a damned thing you can do about it. (well, at least, I couldn't)

that may be true but that's why you try to go somewhere that is close to the training you were getting in your prep years so it wont be that rough.

McBride ran 1:46.07 at World Juniors. I don't know if AC keeps track of separate HS records, and anyway I don't think McBride ran for his high school team, rather the Windsor Legion track club. Under TFN rules, he'd have the Canadian HS record.

Back to Shaunae Miller: that 53.04 gets her into the East regional but who knows if she's ready to run or not. This is one reason I like regionals, as it gives a lot more room for error in cases like this. (I dislike the setup we have right now, but there is no limit to the number of ways we could do regionals and some could be quite entertaining).

If she was a DNS in the 100 would she be able to run on the 4x100 relay? (also, aside from that possibility, did she do a different leg?)

The Aggie 4X100 was Lakeidra Stewart, Ashton Purvis, Kamaria Brown, and Jennifer Madu. Here's the video:

I have no idea what the rules would allow, but I would assume that she could run the relay if able. The fact that she didn't run tells me that she's injured - hopefully not seriously. Reminds me too much of Gabby Mayo - injured in the 2010 Big 12 Championship, recovered well enough to qualify in the 100m and 100m hurdles, then relapsed or reinjured prior to the NCAA meet. She was never the same.........

I know you heard Dwight Stones say that it was Collier on the anchor, I heard it too. Dwight often gets confused when the lineups change in relays, and just sticks with the info he is given prior to the race. Jennifer Madu ran the anchor for the Aggies.

Anyone know whats been up with Tavaris Tate? It just seems as if since his 44.8 as a freshman he has literally slowly been making a backwards progression. Has it been injury?

Regarding injuries, anyone know if Ashley Collier is injured? She DNS in the 100 prelims.

Collier anchored A&M's 4x1 today - so she appears fine.

On the Georgia site this morning

Depsite the fact that it will feature the world leader, the women's 800 won't be as fast as some might have expected since Charlene Lipsey and Natoya Goule are both doing the 1500/800 double tomorrow.

And the 1500 probably didn't go as well as they may have expected.

Welp, 2:01.12 an hour after the 1500 is pretty darn good.

Goule finished her day with a 51.52 anchor on LSU's 4x400. 4:20.35, 2:01.12 and 51.52s all in an afternoon is pretty good range IMO.

You mean the Russian Anton Kokorin? That's what the results site says... He ran the 3rd leg and has a 44.67 split.

Remember teams can switch up their order after the entries are submitted, and it always happens.
Niit ran the 3rd leg for Arkansas.
Brady - Kokorin - Niit - Gauntlett was what they order they ran.
