Around the time she used to win. Great to see her, I'll be very interested in how good she'll look......and what sort of Pole Vault form she's in

Other athletes I'll be particularly interested in seeing how they perform are:

Demus, Hejnova and Spencer in the 400m Hurdles; Bengtsson in the pole vault, Jepkosgei and Jelimo in the 800m, Shubenkov and Merritt in the 110m hurdles and the mens's long jump.

That little tool that shows you the graph of the athletes PRs is awesome!

Bengtsson jumped 4.30m today in Jinan/CHN to win against a dozen chinese athletes.

She's never started her outdoor season in May as a senior. I wonder if Li-Ning might have persuaded her to compete in Shanghai as she normally opens in June/July? But perhaps she just felt she needed to start her season earlier as she missed the indoor season and her ploy of competing very sparingly before the champs in recent years hasn't paid off.

Looking forward to seeing how Genzebe Dibaba goes over 5000m. I've felt the event has been rather stagnant as of late with T. Dibaba and Defar both slightly on the wane.

                  g. dibaba will be fine at 5000 she ran 8:26 for 3k indoors and has run 14:37, definetely sub 14:20 potential.

Okagbare is also running this race as well....Im interested to see where exactly she is at based on that 22.31 that she ran

                      Re: shanghai entries now up

This entire Shanghai meet will be interesting.

                      100mW
This will be SAFP's first serious 100m and Jeter's first race with her major competition. I am keeping an eye on Okagbare, who can easily spring a surprised based on the massive PB I saw in her 200m. Henry-Robinson should be interesting in this race as well and it will also be interesting to see how close Tarmoh can get to the major players in this race.

                      400mHW
Hejnova I expect to take this one with Demus coming in for second. This is Spencer's first race for the season over the barriers and with her early season injury I would expect her to not be at her best, probably a 55.mid. She, along with Demus, has the fortune of not having to peak for their trials so we can expect to see a steady build up towards the World Championships for these two.

                      800mW
This should be a Jelimo vs Jepkosgei battle with Jelimo being the clear favorite. I am interested in Niyonsaba if only because I see that he has a 1:56:59 PB.

                      5000mW
Defar vs Dibaba.... That's just it for me. And I say Defar!

She was scheduled to run the 200m yesterday. She pulled out at the last minute.

I expect Jeter to win since she is usually more consistent on the circuit. Fraser is more of a big time championship performer.

Even though Gatlin is a former World Champion at 200m, i dont expect to see him anywhere near the medal podium in that event come Moscow.

                              Wish Suhr was in it!
Suhr vs Isi....what a classic duel THAT would be!

                              Also Wariner in the 400.
And hope they go for time in the women's 5K.
(I agree a time of sub-14:20 is possible.)
