Looking for a Prefontaine ticket

Anyone have an extra ticket for Pre? I'm getting the last-minute itch to see a good--no, great-- meet and might go. I'd just need one, my T&F partners in crime can't make it. (I'd put this on the Trading Post but not everyone visits that forum.)

Dr. Jay, Are there any General Admission tickets left? They also have a Senior Discount, if applicable. FYI, the Friday Night pre-session (pun intended), incl. Ethiopia's 10000 m WC Trials is Free. And w/ GM, you can usually move around some, if more easily at Trials and that week, NCAA--which you might care to stick around for.

It's gonna be quite a week. And Free Pre!

In an ideal world, Pre would be held the Sunday after NCAA's, not the Saturday before, but I guess the hotel and restaurant owners wouldn't be as happy if NCAA's and Pre were held on five consecutive days.

I believe it may have been held on a following Sunday once. I do know that one year ('78) it was held on Wednesday, before the NCAA started.

Given the size of Pre now vs. then, holding it on a Sunday just wouldn't fly, because the requisite housing wouldn't be there on the days when the NCAA people were in town. To say nothing of having to properly dress the venue.

Crazy day, no chance yet to check on General Admission tix. Where does GA sit at Hayward? Any idea how early one needs to get there to get one of the better GA seats? Is there a mosh pit?

Sect P, row 10, a third of the way down the backstraight still available. Never have sat there, only in the West grandstand.

I was front row at the 1500m start in 2005 - I've not been to as many meets in Hayward as others here (3 or 4), but I think you're in a prime spot.

That's about where I sat at the trials last year.
