BC Baroo. Your response was both logical and meteorological.

Aaronk: Yogi Berra, not Woody Allen (I believe).

Methinks this will make the w1500 at the US Championships a well anticipated race!

Simpson is a GREAT kicker, and she's having a GREAT year so far....but again...IF Cain is within 5 meters of her with 100 to go....it's even odds...or at worst 45-55 against!!
I have no problem with all the enthusiasm. I'm enthusiastic too. But - Simpson DEVASTATED the field at Drake.

Cain is amazing. But not in the same stratosphere as Simpson right now.
Do you think Simpson would have run 3:57 at Oxy?
I think sub 4 if she wanted to.

4:00.0 is the same IAAF points as a 1:57.0, which is definitely now within Simpson's reach at this point. I think sub-4 is (of course) but would have been a little tough because she would have been solo a long time. With the 2:00 under her belt, I think that she can now mix it up with the big girls, whereas last year she was a bit behind that level. And it is only May and she does not need to peak to get through Trials!
