Re: Brad Walker 5m83 [19-1½]
The record is for the home pole vault, of course it does not mean a lot, as Renaud and his teammates (Stanley Joseph and his elder brother Valentin) are the only ones who compete here.
I do not know what is the record for the 8 steps.

Is the 'wr' the home pole or the 8-step aspect?

Re: Brad Walker 5m83 [19-1½]
According to his twitter account, Lavillenie has now the WL as he cleared 5,84 from 8 steps using his home pole vault.
And 5,53 for Valentin Lavillenie.
This is more a joke (home pole vault is not an official event), but it seems lavillenie is in good shape.
