Now that is a PROPER hiding from Ahoure! That being said though the US women are not looking good where the sprints are concerned. The collegians look much better right now....

These are 'below expectations', even into a -0.7 breeze.

The usual protagonists aren't 'showing up' except for SAFP, VCB, Ahoure and Jeter. At this point it would have been expected that the likes of Tarmoh, Madison, Felix, Anderson all aren't really 'zipping' in the 100m.

You would expect that to me the finals of the US trials with the exception of Jeter, Felix, Gardener and or Duncan

The only person I would say is below expectations is Tianna Bartoletta, who possibly has switched coaches considering her coach moved to England (can anyone confirm?)

As good a Knight has been on the relays, her open performances have not really been "world class"
Anderson has yet to really break through and ends up only being a finalist at USA's
Williams has already run faster than last year, but regardless has been a complete question mark for the past 3 or so years.

Even if the times in this race are "disappointing" I'm not necessary surprised

Whenever the U.S. women start out fast, they get criticized, when the start out slow, they still get criticized. The only one I am concerned with in Alex Anderson; getting out of college, I think she ran a wind aided 10.96 and I thought by now she would be well under 11 secs. I have always maintained, she should consider a new coach, considering her talent...just saying...

I was high on this girl.... I thought she could be good from 100 - 400.... I'm not even sure what has happened to have caused her to be so stagnant to to slightly regress...

I really don't think she want's to run fast. If she did, she'd consult coaches like John Smith and Bobby Kersee. They know the right kind of training to put "fire under her feet"....what a shame>>>

I've been looking for the full startlist for the 100m (male or female) for a while now.
