She gave up and also faded.... If she had pushed she would have held the third place

Somebody finally told Stuart (Stewart) Story (Storey) that in Slavic languages using the Latin alphabet the letter 'j' stands for "yod" like English 'y', not like Cyrillic ? (zh) or English J (dzh). He pronounced Hey-nO-va, but then slipped back to Hezh-nO-va and corrected himself. Hutchings pronounced it correctly, HEy-no-vaaa (long a).

Hejnova is looking very good if she can hold her form.
          Cheers,

Dalilah Muhammad, age 23, and one year out of USC, is now the 21st fastest American.....ever!!
And she's # 3 American this year, behind the two collegians, Carter and Moline!

Is Demus going to make the team??

BTW, Muhammad comes from the same HS, Benjamin Cardozo (NY), as Sabrina Southerland!!

Demus is the defending World Champion. All she has to do is compete and she's on the team.

Yup, world youth champion in 2007. 3rd place at NCAA's in 2009 her freshman year but was sort of up and down from there.
Also battled Turquoise Thompson a few times before they both ended up at USC and UCLA respectively.
