Sherone Simpson really looked good in the 100m. If she stays healthy then Athens look out.

Nice. So her 11.11 at Gibson and 11.18 (no wind indicator present) at Intercol were no flukes

She looked really good at Whitsuntide. She won by about 3-5 meters. At the end she looked really relaxed and easy. I think with some competition she can go under 11.00 easily.

If Veronica Campbell isn't too badly injured then she (Sherone) might need to run that to win at trails in a month's time. Should be an interesting race with Campbell, Simpson, Aleen Bialey, Simone Facey, Tayna Lawrence and Peta-Gaye Dowdie in the 100W at trials. BTW that's the order in which I expect them to finish.

          Nice run for Simpson!

Anyone know where the Trini 4x1 men's team messed up?

They messed up on the last hand over, Jacie harper to Darrel. Darrel's run off looked ok and Jacie meet him about 3/4 way up the handover zone. Darrel had his hand low and Jacie was not able to give him the stick. They were leading by about 10M or more. Natherlands won with 39.39. Trini would have gone under 39 maybe 38.50 or so.

She certainly has improved quite a bit. At 19 years of age she has quite a future. The anchor leg at the Penn Relays on the 4 x 100m Relay when she appeared to be closing on Marion Jones can now be looked at in a different light. It wasn't an optical illusion.
