  • Christine Arron running in Belgium on Wednesday

Thought she retired. Anyone think she is capable of ever getting sub 11 again or is that long gone?

Considering her age (40 in 2 months) and the fact that she hasn't run a 10.xx in 9 years there is a better chance of a kenyan shotput winner in Moscow.

Why can't a Kenyan win shotput? Most people on this board will tell you it doesnt matter where you are from you can do anything you put your mind to.

Because no Kenyan even got close to 20 meters, so it's very unlikely someone is going to improve to 22 meters within the next few weeks. Of course Kenya could have good throwers, Julius Yego is proof of that.

(Not from Kenya, but just as unique, maybe!)

An East African shotputter winning at this point in time would be on another level from a Caribbean jav guy winning during a pretty weak period.

I would be really surprised if she actually competes. She just gave birth to a daughter mid-May.
