No, he's far from done. So young, scary fast! And, its his first race this outdoor season? What about when he get in shape in a few months?

It looks like from the splits they posted he ran at least the last 2k by himself. Pretty impressive.

And, I just looked at the results. It looks like he ran by himself from the midway mark!

Yeah, apparently the last 2000 was almost exactly 5 minutes flat. Really awesome.

Apparently he ran the last 3k in 7:32!!! Awesome...

And the time has been rounded down to 12:37.35...

It's already been included into the all-time lists...

That's just a sick time. Consider the pace (not splits):

                    4:03 mile
                    7:34 3K
                    8:07 2-mile

Why does every previous post on this thread have the time wrong??

Strange, 12 replies to this WR and not one of them offered the opinion that maybe he was running too fast too soon. Yet, the response to Webb's great race had to add that question to the performance.

i noticed that. its very sad, but expected.

i guess part of it is that people really want Webb to succeed at a championship or at the olys later on, because apparently that's when it 'matters' or something.
